Hey guys, As I promised that I aint gonna be lost, Here I’m back! And I’m about to go through the 2nd part of tips for saving money on gas series following the first one. I hope the series is helping you do save your money!
So, here goes the 2nd part….
Save Money On Gas:
Dont Let The Gas Shoot You!
Turn Off Your Ac :
Turn off your AC while you are driving through town. Because that time you are going really slow. Believe me, it saves gas a lot. But don’t turn the AC off while you are driving more than 40 because in that case the air will protest your car against it’s direction of moving and that’s gonna low down your mileage.
Don’t Go Too Fast:
I aint telling to make your driving looks like a Fast And Furious movie in slow motion! What I’m telling is to control heroic driving sometimes(Sometime I forget this too and have to pay for it!). Don’t go over 65 mph because it’s gonna eat up gas a lot more than the natural rate. It eats up about 30% more gas if you are driving at 70 mph than 50 mph.
Avoid Doing Brakes Several Times:
It’s a really big fact. If you brake your car several times it’s gonna take a great amount of gas to accelerate again and again. Try going at a constant speed and when you need to decelerate do it slowly. Don’t just look at the car in front of you, try always having a eye on 4 or 5 cars in front of you. It surely gonna make you more cautious about when you should start slowing down.
Shift Into Neutral:
Shift into neutral when you are waiting somewhere for a little while. Its gonna help cooling down the transmission.
Tune Up Your Car:
Tune up your car at least once in 3 months. Believe it or not, it’s gonna save 25% gas than a poorly tuned car!
So, that was the 2nd part. I aint still sure if I’m gonna be able to cover the tips within the next part! Let’s see! So, how was it? Again the same question, resourceful? Actually that’s what I care about. So, was it resourceful?
