Hi guys! I’m sorry I couldn’t keep my promise and was out from the blog again for about a week! Well, my buddy Shankor is mad on me too! LOL! Guys, this time I’m really back and you’ll surely be happy to know what I was doing this 1 week. I was running after gas! Well, that was too much dramatic I guess! I was actually making a series post on saving money on gas!
So, now that I’m ready to post the first part, here it goes…

Save Money On Gas:

Save Money, Dont Burn It!

Getting The Right Car:

Let’s start from the start! You are in a car shop and which kind of car you should look for! Off course it should be of good mileage and next thing you should look for is the mass of the car. I hope we all know the relation between force and mass. For better mileage you should get a light car if you don’t need a heavier one better mileage.

Check For The Lowest Price:

First up, you need to look out for the lowest price of gas. There are some good websites to follow the lowest gas price such as GasBuddy and GasPriceWatch. Always have a look on those.

Refill The Tank At Right Time:

You should always refill the tank at the right time. The price of gas is not always the same. Try to buy gas on week days because gas stations have a tendency to have a rise on the price of gas during weekends. Just check on the price boards while you are driving and fill it up when you think it’s the lowest.

Be Cautious On Filling Up Tank:

Be cautious while you are filling up the tank. Don’t fill it up to 100%. There are two reasons behind it. One is again the relation between force and mass. If you are having a totally filled fuel tank you are having the maximum mass of your car which is gonna lower your mileage.

The second reason is on a hot day gasoline can expand and can overflow which is really not good!

Choose The Perfect Route:

This is a really important one. You should always choose the right route to drive one. Always try avoiding routs with heavy traffic whether it’s a shortcut or not. It’s better to drive a little more than to just hang on the road for hours! Believe me, this kinda shortcut never gonna save either your time or gas. You should use a Global Positioning System(GPS) to find out the right route.

So, this was the first part of the saving money on gas series. There will be 3 parts in total as far as I’ve planned until now. So, keep waiting for the next two guys. They’ll be posted in short time. Don’t worry! I’m not gonna be lost again!LOL!
