It’s easy, just say hello and say we are offering this services and say why this service is better and cheaper then others and how it’s working well to other customers.
I think it’s an art, if you can convince then who could protect you from sale?
Now rising the million dollars question “But How Can I Get a Good Flow of Customers?“. The simple and easiest way is advertising, more promotion more rush (Simple calculation).

Don’t Follow Walmart
If your small business is new, less then 1 year then never follow advertising strategies of big companies like Walmart. Brand value is important but not now. Be focused when putting ad on leaflets, posters or whatever you like. Try to add specific focused service which is gonna sale.

Creative Advertisement on White Papers
Single postcard size small leaflet can generate 3+ sales! Believe me, consumers like well designed and focused leaflets or posters. So it can catch the concentration of your targeted market.
If you have computer then try to design it yourself and printout it by your own printer. It can save your money.

Fly on Sky Banners
Medium banner also draws good attention, low-cost and better effective then lead board. Try to design it simple, focus your appealing service that can attract customers.

Newsletter Sending to Targeted Market
It can generate huge traffic if you can make your newsletter appealing and attractive. A small written newsletter is 100 times effective than clumsy structured newsletter.

Wrap Your Ads by Newspaper
I am not saying about traditional advertising on newspaper. I am saying about sending small leaflets through newspaper on your targeted market. It worked good for my business plan.
Just contact with your local newspaper hawker, make a deal to deliver leaflets or posters wrapping by daily newspaper. I think it’s more effective then direct advertising because it can draw more attention and also cost effective.

Get Customers from Virtual World
Now consumers are more likely seek service or goods from online. Target them, of-course target them by a search engine friendly website (I will do a post, “How Search Engine Optimized Website can Generate Traffic and Turn Them Into Loyal Customers“).
And don’t forget to offer free Email Newsletters to deliver great offers and update of your services.

Send Email Newsletter
Do you know, it’s 6 times easier to sale a product to existing one. Yes, collect email address when a new customer comes to your door. And I have said earlier, offer email newsletter on your website. It’s more easier and cost effective then tradition newsletter.

Joint Marketing
It’s also another cost effecting way to advertise with other business owners (not with competitors). Contact with them and do offer for joint advertising. e.g posters contains several ads

Offer Free Along With a Cheaper and Premium Version
It was one of the most effective marketing strategies. Some consumers are always willing to buy premium products rather then cheaper. And if you can offer “Free” then you can easily make huge rush. Just figure out how you can make them loyal customer.
